You know all
You are sovereign God over everything
Over ALL things
How in the world, then, can apathy stand? Just considering your gospel
Holy, blameless, righteous, all powerful God
Voluntarily stepping out of heaven,
Come to us as a man
Now, in one Earthly body dwells the will of both God and man
Jesus was a man,
Submitting to a broken body
A crush body
All to honor the divine Father’s plan
Salvation for the likes of me?
Dirty, thankless, shameful, sinful
If you only knew the things I have done
But he DID know
And then, fully known
He accepted my sin without reservation
No part was too dirty
Nor for the God who loved me despite my dirt and grime
Before even the beginning of time itself
