Cambodia. A place of breakthrough. Where Jesus is gonna take something old and make it new.Where He will bring restoration, rejuvenation, and revival. Coming into this month I have felt all kinds of emotions. Like we’re half way people… woah. On some days I have a “I can’t believe we’re already half way! no no no!! It’s going too fast!” And other days I sit back and go, “Oh my, how have we only gone half way? We still have five more months.”
This is hard. It’s growing. Stretching. Challenging. Just about consistently. And sometimes it’s hard to not get discouraged by the crazy amounts of flaws that I have. That we have. Because we will never be perfect, and there will always be things Jesus is showing us about who we could be. And who we truly are, for Him.
And as I walk around these streets I am recognizing and remembering the Father all around me. Why He brought my team and I here. What He’s gonna have us do. And the healing and breakthrough I just know He’s gonna bring for my team and I, and in return, for the people of Cambodia. Because we are gonna pray for these people with authority. Passion. Thankfulness. And adoration of all that our Father is.
He is good. He brings growth because of love. Because He looks down at us smiling, KNOWING our potential. KNOWING exactly who He made us to be. So I am hopeful. I am expectant. I am excited to be with the people of Cambodia. With a laser focus on my Jesus. Abba. Father. Friend. My main Man.
And I feel Him all around me. Reminding me who I am. What I’m here for. And getting me ready to hit the ground running for what the last half of this crazy adventure will look like. With my people. His people. Choosing to walk in true authenticity. With perspective. Because He is bigger, stronger, and loves harder, I will too. Even when it’s not easy. The night before His crucifixion, He could’ve done nothing and just slept. But no, He sweat blood. He prayed on His face all the way to the end of His time here, and His biggest concern was the Fathers will. So it will be mine too. Because we’ll see and experience even greater things right?:) I’m ready. Hand in hand with Him. BRING IT ON CAMBODIA!!!
