Yet I Will Press On
—A Psalm of Mikayla

O Lord, when will my time come?
When will these prophecies come to fruition?
I pray big prayers and see nothing—
time after time, month after month.

I build relationships,
I pour out my heart.
Close friends become separated,
miles and miles apart.

I’m trudging through the wilderness
trying to hear your voice,
but my energy is waining;
the light ahead is growing dim.

Yet I will press on!
I will rest in Your Word,
I will trust in Your ways,
I will declare Your promises over my life!

Father, all goodness dwells inside of you;
all that is good comes from you.

Your eyes have a wide lens over the whole earth;
You see into my life with all omniscience;
Your wisdom and knowledge is beyond all comprehension.

Your perfect hand directs my path before me.
Even when I don’t know where I’m going,
even when I cannot see the end,
I will walk with you through the wilderness;
I will trust that you’ll carry me through.

Thank you, Lord,
for this dry season;
Thank you, Father,
for teaching me patience,
for showing me love,
for fruits of the Spirit
that have been deepened in my heart.

Dry seasons are only for a time;
Already I feel a changing in the wind.
I will press on towards Jesus,
and I will reign victorious!

Thank you, Jesus,
for walking with me until the end.

Amen!

Back in Nepal, I wrote my first ever Psalm [check it out here]. They’re such a good way to express your feelings and call out to God!

I can’t say that the world race is very easy right now, but I can say that God is faithful and He is for sure doing a work in me and my teammates’ lives. The Lord doesn’t bring us into a wilderness without a Promised Land on the other side!!

plz pray for my team this month. peace & blessings <3
