It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…
But seriously, if I had to sum up my experience of Training Camp I would say it was the most wonderful and the most horrible week and a half of my life. 🙂
Funny Moments:
*Camping in the rain
*Hiking in the dark
*Eating with my hands
*Wearing everything I own one night to stay warm in my tent
But that’s just like life, isn’t it? We enjoy the happy moments and try to persevere through the difficult ones. Thankfully, I have an amazing squad! These are new friends that will travel and serve with me next year. So, at least we experienced all of these hard and funny moments together. Go Brute Squad! 😉
Also, I thought I would share some of my notes from my time at camp. I was encouraged and convicted. I hope you feel the same!
Spiritual Moments:
*Jesus wants us to let go of our “comforts” so we can grab onto Him with both hands.
*Am I following the gifts God has given me or am I following my own agenda?
*You don’t have to be perfect to go and minister.
*Be willing to do anything God wants!
