This year I have been a “jack of all trades.” I have learned so many new skills on this race and now I wonder… What will I put on my resume after this? I mean sure, I could just put missionary, but that would be selling myself short. Take a look at all I’ve done since leaving and tell me what you think I should put down on my next job application.
Month 1 – Guatemala
English Teacher and Soccer Field Builder
Month 2 – Nicaragua
Landscaper and Personal Jungle Gym
(landscaping not pictured because I didn’t know at the time I would ever want a picture of me raking leaves… you live and you learn though.)
Month 3 – Panama
Preacher and Actress
Month 4 – Lesotho
DJ and Comforter
Month 5 – Swaziland
videographer and friend
Month 6 – South Africa
English Teacher
Month 7 – Malaysia
Fish Gutter and Muralist
Month 8 – Thailand
Musician and Potential Contact Finder
Month 9 – Cambodia
River Cleaner and Friend and who knows what else…
You see my dilemma? These are only a few of the many things I’ve learned to do on this thing called The World Race. I will return home with a whole new set of skills and I am just not sure where that all fits yet. Good thing I have a couple more months to figure it out. Until next time…
