Do you ever wake up and wonder at the state of your life?
Because I do. Just about every day.
In a little over 3 months, I will leave home to travel the world for 11 months and share the good news of the gospel and love people and bask in the glory of Creation and…wow. Breathe Megs.
I mean, that’s bona fide “dream-come-true” material right there.
And I’m so close I can practically taste it.
I want to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU.
Thank you to everyone who has let me excitedly talk their ear off about my trip.
Thank you to everyone who has donated their time and effort to help me.
Thank you to everyone who has generously given of their finances to support me.
Thank you to everyone who has kept me emotionally sane during this process.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed so far for me and my family.

I am sooooo close to my fundraising goal! As of today, I have $3,460 left. WOW. When I started this journey, raising over $17,000 seemed almost like a joke. I just laughed at the fact that I had to raise that much, because I couldn’t imagine doing it on my own. And I can honestly say that I haven’t. Not only have I had such amazing help and support from friends and family, but God has shown up in some really BIG ways. Ways that only he could!
What I want to ask of you is to please continue praying for me. This is going to be one of the biggest journeys of my life, and I definitely do not take for granted the power of prayer. And if you feel led to partner with me financially, I’m going to list a few ways below that you can do that. Ultimately, this isn’t my journey. It’s God’s journey, and he has just invited you and me to join him in caring for his people.
We are in this together.

My 23rd birthday is actually this Sunday, April 22 (it’s also earth day so recycle and spend some time thanking God for this beautiful planet we inhabit!). Please forego any presents! Instead, would you consider donating $23 for my 23rd birthday? I am only $3,460 away from being fully funded!! (insert shocked emoji face!) I know! It’s been a long road and I can see the finish line! If 10 people gave $23 on Sunday, that brings me $230 CLOSER to being fully funded before I leave in August!
