Hello from beautiful Thailand!

We have made it to month seven and my team is all back together! Last month the guys had a “manistry” month, where they went off on their own to do man ministry things. This meant that Ashlyn, Averi and I joined up with team Empower Rangers all of Cambodia. It was really fun being back with all girls and getting to know some of my other squad mates better. However, we did miss the guys (don’t tell them I said that) and I am really happy to have team Fuerte All Day back together once again.

This month we are partnering with Sending Hope International, which houses at risk girls, protecting them from potential exploitation, sex trafficking, and poverty. Check out http://sendinghopeinternational.org/about-us/ for more information.

We get the privilege of spending time with the 20 girls who live here as well as help staff their annual camp for 100+ hill tribe children April 16-20th. So far we have spent the last couple of mornings playing games, teaching English and Bible lessons as well as singing and praying together. In the afternoons we meet with the older girls to have “girl talk” and encourage them as women. Today we had Mack help us teach some self-defense moves. That was a lot of Fun!

We have quickly fallen in love with these girls, which makes it a little sad that we do not have a full month with them. Next week we return to Chiang Mai for a two-day conference with all the other squads currently in Thailand. We come back to help out with camp for a little over a week and then it’s back to Chiang Mai to meet up with our parents for PVT week! I am so excited to see my parents and join them in ministry for a week. Please pray for them as they prepare to come and that they would have safe travels…mom and dad, start hydrating now, it’s hot over here in Southeast Asia!

That’s all for now!
