Today is our last full day here in Kosovo and I could not have asked for a better first month on the world race. We have loved our time spent with the people of Fellowship of God’s People, we have embraced community living, and we are just at the beginning of our spiritual journeys.

In a past blog I mentioned that Kosovo is around 96% Muslim. Through various conversations after, I came to find that this 96% holds a small amount who practice Islam religiously. For the most part, Kosovo is filled with nominal Muslims. With this knowledge I could identify what this means while we walked the streets of Pristina. Most People were dressed in normal clothing, and when the call to prayer would go off from the various mosques, people would still go about their business. I have been able to sense a great amount of Indifference. Thus, my prayers have shifted to asking the Lord to break people’s chains of indifference, to place a curiosity within them that leads to asking questions and gaining understanding of what they truly believe.

As a team, we have been so excited about the new relationships we have built here in Kosovo, with believers and non-believers. Our conversations have been filled with laughter, deep questions, story telling, and a greater understanding of our similarities, and differences. We have been able to share our testimonies, and present the gospel to some who have never heard it before, what a blessing!
