Hey All,
Back in December, my team and I spent month five in Da Nang, Vietnam. You many remember our hosts that month were Kelbin, and his wife Elissa. Our team had so much fun with them during the month and, since that time, they have became great friends of ours.
During our time together, Kelbin was able to share his amazing and powerful testimony with us. As soon as I heard it, I knew I wanted to make a short, SYS documentary about it. I actually finished the doc last month in Ethiopia; however, because I had no wifi the entire month, I am posting this now.
Here is a bit of background information about Kelbin:
Kelbin lives in Da Nang, Vietnam, where he owns both a pizza restaurant and a hotel! Because Vietnam is a communist country and it is illegal to share the Gospel, Kelbin uses his restaurant to help spread God’s word of redemption and Hope. In this short documentary, Kelbin shares his amazing testimony – about how he was able to overcome his involvement in both gangs and drug addiction, as well as being struck in the skull with a sword. Watch as Kelbin’s story unfolds, and see how these events in his life were instrumental in him becoming the Godly man he is today.
I hope that his words and testimony touch your heart, and that you are able to see how truly on fire for Jesus this man really is. He is an awesome man of God, and a wonderful friend.
Of all the short documentaries I have made thus far on the race, this one is probably my favorite. I had a lot of material to work with and was able to get creative and have fun with it. Please watch and share – you too have experiences in your own life that can help you spread the Gospel, just like Kelbin has done.
