It has been a while! Sorry about that, I have been really busy here in Cambodia with my second grade teacher job. But FEAR NOT, a whole bunch of new content is about to come your way very soon. WOOHOO.
Speaking about my second grade class…
This month as you know, I had the opportunity to be a second grade teacher at Dewey International School in Battambang, Cambodia. I am a filmmaker by trade, so when they asked me to teach a second grade class I didn’t know the first thing about it. What I did know about though was film. So I took the kids on a field trip and made a movie trailer with them, and taught them about shots and film technique. They picked the topic Zombies vs. Aliens (do you get the bible quote now? HA), and this is how it turned out.
Our time in Battambang sadly comes to an end tomorrow, we will be traveling to Siem Reap for debrief, with then team changes and debriefing of course, and then off to Vietnam! I have had an awesome time here in Battambang, and I am so happy that the Lord put me in this city and with the ministry. It has truly been an eye opening experience working with these children and showing them the love of Jesus, even though he couldn’t teach His name.
