Hey All,
My squad and I have been having a great month here in Nepal. It has been busy and stressful for sure, but God has rewarded us greatly and I know His glory will be revealed. A squadmate and I have been blessed with the task of filming the stories of people all around Kathmandu; I am thrilled because I believe that this is exactly what God called me here on the World Race to do. Although it’s not an easy task, I am excited when I think of how God is going to use these stories. So ministry has definitely been keeping me busy! It has been a mixed blessing to see the sad conditions of the children and their families living in the slums, but when we get to hold them and bring them the light of Jesus, their faces are filled with joy – there’s no greater feeling in the world!
In this latest vlog, I travel with members of my squad up a mountain to the highest point in all of Kathmandu, where we get an awesome opportunity to get a birds-eye view of the city. After a time of worship, we pray for the city, as well as for all the people we have encountered during the month. We each choose words of blessing for this beautiful city and make an altar of rocks as a testament to what God can do here.
The vlog also gives you a glimpse of the fun time we had playing volleyball with the Nepali National youth team… we lost, of course. But it was a ton of fun, and you can watch us get destroyed.
