My name is Matthew Collman, and I am a Senior at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. Welcome to my blog! Thank you for taking the time to check out what I am doing! Here, you will be able to keep up with what I am doing on the trip!

This September, I will be leaving the comfort of my home for nine months to serve those less fortunate, and to spread the word of God. I will be going to the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Botswana, South Africa, and the Philippines.

Interesting Things About Me:

  • I am a very adventurous person! The greatest of my adventures thus far has been a 125 Mile trek through the Boundary Waters of Minnesota!
  • I am Scuba Diving Certified
  • I am an Eagle Scout!
  • I am very involved member of my community. My Eagle Project was done for them.
  • I have participated in sports such as Swimming and Rugby; I was a captain on the Swim Team
  • I have one sister.
  • My interests include Chemistry, Politics, Law, and the Stock Market.
  • I work as a Lifeguard for Lighthouse Pool Management.
  • Graduate of Eleanor Roosevelt High School

I am very excited to go on this trip, but I face a rather large challenge. Between now and before I leave, I must raise $14,951. In order to donate, you can click the “Donate” button on the fundraising bar. More important than money, however, is your prayers and spiritual support!

I am always available to talk if you are interested in learning more about this trip, among other things! Feel free to contact me at [email protected]!
