Wow, this week has been an absolute whirlwind. I look forward to having more time in the coming week to sit down and put some of my thoughts into words.

My parents just left for the Kigali airport this morning after an incredible week of reuniting and experiencing ministry together. They will have stories to share with many of you I am sure!

What I wanted to share with you all though is GRATITUDE.

I am speechless by the amount of generous donations I received after posting my last blog. To each and every one of you who donated or prayed, THANK YOU. Between my teammates and I we were able to raise WELL over the $200 we were hoping for and immensely blessed our “Mom and Dad Africa”.

What made the experience even more memorable is that all of our parents were able to be here at the construction site as we surprised our hosts with the donation.

Because of your donations my Rwandan family now has concrete floors and walls protecting them from weather, and will begin the process of installing plumbing and electricity.

The family moved in completely this morning and are now able to say, (not quite yet without tears in their eyes) that they are home owners.

It has been such an honor to be able to be part of their journey and I thank you guys for joining in. This house is so much more than a house. It will impact their ministry greatly for the rest of their lives, as they are now able to have less financial burdens, and can put more of their efforts toward their churches and schools.

Below I attached a short clip of the surprise!

Tomorrow morning my team and I will be flying to South Africa, and then making our way in the next week to South America, our final continent where we will begin ministry in remote areas of Bolivia! Pray for safe travels, good health, and all the BIG things we know the Lord is already preparing for us!
