The latest update on my life..

I’ve been in transition. Transitioning back into the United States and figuring out if I’m going to stay or go.

Earlier, I mentioned that the Lord invited me to Gainesville.. well that later lead to the word “apply” and the words “accept it.” Which leaves me here, in Gainesville, as the latest addition to the Adventures in Missions Kitchen staff, cooking for employees and participants at Training Camps like the World Race and the other various trips put on by AIM.

This new season has been a wild adventure of getting plugged in to different families that have blessed me beyond my imagination.

Some highlights:

On my first day of work, I also moved into a new home of a family who has been not only letting me stay in heir beautiful home, but opening up and pouring their love and wisdom into me. Oh, and I became FULLY FUNDED, PEOPLE!!!!!! Come on!!!

On my fourth day of work, as I was bent over adjusting the stove temp, boiling water spilled out of the pot, landing on my face, chest, and arms… and I was completely fine!!!! …it felt like room temperature water and a little baptismal sprinkling from a Methodist church. I was in wild awe of God’s sweet love and protection, I felt unstoppable! THANK YOU LORD!!

I recently found a place that I’m hoping to move into at the beginning of June and then I’ll be going back out on the field toward the end of June to meet my squad in Colombia for a few days.

It’s as though pieces of a wild puzzle have started coming together and the Lord is just smiling on me saying.. “see, I have good plans” and I’m just left marveling at his gifts.

I am SO THANKFUL for all of you who have supported me either financially or by praying for me. I’m in a new place but I have complete peace that it’s where I belong right now. So I’m staying here. And soon enough I’ll be adding Georgia to the list of places that hold my heart.

If you’d like, please continue to pray for clarity and direction as I move and adventure through finding a community here in Gainesville and continuing to commune with friends and family around the world. Also, for my next two trips on the field with my squad to Colombia and Ecuador, and that each one of those sweet men and women would continue to pour their hearts out before the Lord and the people they are serving in their last 3 months overseas.

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.
