I wanted to reach out briefly to let you know that all is well here in Dagupan City! Typhoon Rosita came through. From inside our stable home, it just seemed like a big wind and rain storm but I was concerned for the others.
We left the house today and didn’t see any damage in town. I also was able to talk to some of the neighborhood kids who told me that their day yesterday looked like staying inside and praying for protection.
There is some slight flooding. One of the neighbor girls has to use a bamboo raft to get to her home but she repeatedly assured me that their homes were not damaged because they were stronger than the typhoon. PRAISE GOD!
I’m not sure about the damage that was done in other parts of the Philippines but I’m thanking God for keeping us and our friends in Dagupan safe!
Our time in the Philippines is coming to an end shortly. I can hardly believe this will be the end of month 1 (or I suppose, 12)
Thank you so much for your prayers!! If you’re interested in supporting me financially, there’s a bright orange donate button riiiight up there at the top of this page.
Much love,
M
