Dear Friends and Family,
I hope this letter finds you well! As you may or may not know, I am extremely involved in my church. I have been blessed with an amazing family and an amazing church family who have allowed me to grow monumentally in my relationship with God, and through that growth, I have found a heart for missions. I recently made the decision to take time off from school to focus more on God and what His plans for my life are, and while praying through that decision, He revealed to me something that will change my life forever.
I believe with all my heart God is using this time in my life to send me out into the nations to preach His Great Name, and after months of prayer, research, and more prayer, I am blessed to say that He has clearly commanded me to go. I will participate in a program called the World Race: Gap Year with an organization called Adventures in Missions. The World Race: Gap Year is a nine month mission trip to five different countries, and I was accepted to participate in a route leaving in September of 2017 that will go to Swaziland, Lesotho, India, Nepal, and Nicaragua. We will spread the love of Christ in these countries while teaching in schools, visiting orphanages of the children of AIDs victims, serving victims trapped in sex trafficking, and many other amazing ways. The Lord commands us all to go out into the nations and proclaim the Good News, and He is sending me to do just that.
I cannot express the gratitude I have that God is sending me on this adventure, and I am so excited to see how he changes my life through this journey. I have no doubt that when the Lord calls His people to serve He also provides. I would like to humbly ask you to partner with me and my team in prayer leading up to and also during the trip so that God may lead us to those that need to hear the Good News. I would also like to humbly ask for you to prayerfully consider supporting me financially in this journey. I must raise $14,951 for this opportunity, which will cover my travel expenses, living expenses, and insurance during the entire nine months. Even though this is a journey I, personally, am experiencing, I would like to express how much of a blessing your support is. Every bit of money I raise will ultimately help spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to the nations and show them a love that only Christ can give, and through supporting me you are becoming a part of the amazing work of God.
