Y’all. I’M FULLY FUNDED!!!!!!!!
If anyone needs me for the next three days, I’ll be jumping up and down with excitement. I want to go hug some strangers or shotgun a can of Fanta or sing Stand By Me on a crowded subway or something. Y’all. I’m ecstatic. If I may be entirely honest with you all, I didn’t know if this day would come. When I first signed up for the race back in February, I don’t think I really considered that I would actually be here right now. But I prayed. A lot. I prayed that if God would help me to $10,000, then I knew I was supposed to be here. If He could get me to 10, I had no doubt He would supply the rest. And y’know, even saying that just now, and believing it the whole time, I’m still shocked. At the generosity from all of those who have supported me. At the patience of my parents, who didn’t call me lazy and stupid when I was definitely being lazy and stupid. At the love that I’ve been shown this past year, from my family, my friends, my Savior, and from all the amazing souls that I’ve had the opportunity to meet these past four months.
So all I have to say, is thank you. And if you fit that list above, I owe you at least three big ole hugs.
