My Challenge
I have a challenge for all of you back at home that are reading this. First read this verse below:
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,”

This verse is very important to me and before I challenge you with something I first want to tell you why. Almost 2 years ago, as I have said before in previous blogs, I was arrested for a DUI and had to go through a very long process that hurt me and my family very much. I proceeded to go to counseling at my church with now Senior Pastor Dale Benson. Our verse that we would repeatedly go over is that verse above in Hebrews 12. It really made me have to think about the decisions I make in my day to day life. Are my decisions pleasing to God or hindering myself in sin.
So my challenge is to First, go to God in prayer and ask “What are the things that are hindering me?”. Secondly put down in the comments, post of your (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) or write me an email and boldly state the one or more things that is a sin that is hindering you. Lastly, finding a solution to that sin/hinderance and a accountability partner/friend/pastor that can keep you accountable through this process. So that we can run with our eyes fixed on Jesus.
