Rainy Season
Happy Holidays everyone, hope you all are enjoying the holiday season! In Malawi at this time of year it is Rainy Season and when it rains, it pours. The storms that come with season are unlike anything I have ever experienced. The thunder is so loud that you can feel it every time it rumbles. The lightning illuminates the sky that you can see across the whole lake. The rain comes in a downpour and seems to last awhile. Just like the rainy season here, I’m sure we have all experienced a rainy season in our own lives. The situations we get into seem to illuminate like the lightning and everyone can see what is going on. Like the thunder, the circumstances may seem loud and very frightening. Lastly like the rain, it seems like coming down so heavily and there is no end in sight. But this season also brings the most amount of growth. Both in the physical realm and in our relationship with God. Like here in the physical fruit and vegetation grows more because it is being fed by the water. You maybe going through this season of life right now and I want to let you know that it will end, the sun will come out and God is watching over you. I can tell you through all the rainy seasons I have went through whether that was stealing from my parents, getting a DUI or being diagnosed with epilepsy. All of these things have put me in a position to travel the world spreading the gospel to people who are just as broken as I am. The rain will come but are you willing to prepare yourself and keep focus on God through it? He will help you, He will comfort you and He will never leave you.
Much Love,
Mack
