”for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans? ?3:23? ?NIV??

We All are sinners, We All have disappointed our Heavenly Father but by Jesus blood We All have a choice to choose eternal life.

For me this became very apparent in a place most people wouldn’t want to go to willingly. I stepped into a correctional facility for young men and women here in Craiova, Romania. As I stepped in I could feel that God was going to use me to speak encouragement but also speak to me through this experience. After 2 security check points and a lot of standing in the cold, we finally start making our way towards the room. Before we start walking I start talking to a young man that looked about my age. After some small talk he begins to explain why he has privileges and why he is in prison in the first place. He tells me that he was convicted of murder and still has a lot of time left on his sentence. I was definitely taken back and said to myself “Why isn’t he in hand cuffs or have a guard around him to keep our group safe?”. But what I didn’t realize is what God wanted to reveal to me later during my speech. As I’m speaking about my testimony to these people I God whispered to me “Mack these people are no different than you, with you today or any Christian for that matter. Why do you think your sins are less than theirs? Do you think that because someone has murdered someone that my blood does not also cover their sins as well?”. I sat back in my chair and thought wow, these people were just as hungry as I was 2 years ago. Their trying to find hope in what seems to be a hopelessness situation. They are in a spiritual prison but also a physical prison. They just need someone to speak love into their lives. So that’s what I tried to do or I shook their hand and treated them like I would treat a man or woman outside of the walls of a prison. The big thing I want all pf you to get out of this is that everyone is seeking the light that only God can lead them too. Please help them towards that light, lead with grace and love. Don’t judge them because in Gods eyes all sin is the same and so is His love.

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
??2 Corinthians? ?12:9? ?NIV??

Much Love,
Mack
