Month eight was spent in Johannesburg, South Africa, Linden, to be more exact. What an awesome community that made us feel right at home! We were hosted by and got to serve along side a local church, GKLinden, and man oh man, were we blown away by the generousity and hospitality of its staff and members.
We had the honor of being the first World Race team to partner with this ministry, something the church leaders had been praying about for 5 years!! Words literally cannot express how grateful I am to have been a part of what’s going on there. We spent the month helping with events at the church, like missions week and their youth group, BlinC, and volunteering at local ministries, like a vegetable garden, soup kitchen, and kid’s club, just to name a few.
