This month we have been working with an organization called Hosea’s Heart. Mary Kate, the director of Hosea’s Heart, came to Swazi about 10 years ago and her life forever changed. She felt the Lord place on her heart the need to get girls off the street and into a safe environment, where they can receive education, housing, and the love from the Lord. This organization desires to help girls who have been trafficked, are/have been abused, or are at risk for either of the two.

Hosea’s heart (currently) houses 16 girls from the ages of 10-21. These girls have completely stolen my heart. They are so full of life! We get so spend hours with them everyday teaching them life skills, card games, and Jesus! While we are there to teach and pour into them, they have taught me more than I could ever imagine. They have taught me new dance moves, very challenging card games, and news songs. More importantly though, they have taught me how to find joy in the circumstances that aren’t ideal, how to confidently ask questions about God in order to know Him more, and how to fight each day for my sisters in Christ and go into battle together to fight for light and Kingdom.

This organization has brought hope to Swaziland and hope to the girls who live here. Within the next three years (they have already begun the process), Hosea’s Heart plans to build a home that will house 56 girls/women!!

I could go on and on about the things I’ve experienced and learned this month, but I don’t think there are enemies enough words for that. So, I encourage you to look up this organization and learn more about who they are and their heart behind it! I was blessed to be apart of this place this month and a piece of my heart will be with these girls for a long time.

Please pray for financial support for their new land that they can continue the building process, for spiritual rejuvenation for the staff that they can continue to pour into the girls at the home, and against spiritual warfare that the girls face everyday. Gods hand is over this place and I cannot wait to watch it grow.
