Wow, another month – another country. I am officially in Zimbabwe! Hard to believe that its already Month three of this nine month journey. It is going so fast, but my heart has been so humbled to have been chosen to embark on this journey. Since being in Zimbabwe ministry has looked like going door to door in residential areas and sharing the good word of Jesus with the residents here. Several have come to Christ. Several have attended our church for the first time in years. God’s at work here no doubt.
A little about my heart since being here ~
Month three is a hard one. Things at home still seem so familiar, yet so distant. As someone who just graduated barely six month ago, this is the longest I’ve been away from my family and friends. BUT – I know that this is the place that the Lord has me and wants me. I’m doing my best to take in every moment of this journey. I feel so blessed to be here, and even more blessed to have this amazing support system that I’ve been given. Thanks to each of you who have invested in me and this journey. I feel full. I laugh without insecurity. I truly feel so made new through this journey that the Lord has provided. He has shown me what it is to love. What it means to be filled by Him. I’m so blessed. Stay tuned for more updates.
Prayer Request:
– I am 76.84% funded! This has been a long and tedious journey but also so FUN. I feel so blessed to currently have received a grand total of $11,488 – we are doing great. I still need to raise $3,463. I know that we can finish this together. I need to be fully funded by December 31 in order to stay on the race and continue doing what I love. Lets finish this!
– Continue praying for my heart, IT IS WORKING. I feel so loved, so blessed, and I feel the Father so thoroughly.
– Like I said earlier in my blog, month three is a hard one; especially with all the holidays happening back home! This is something most of my squad is dealing with, be praying for our strength and that we would remain where our feet are.
