About a week and a half ago I moved to Nepal. Upon arriving to Nepal we entered a period of time on the race called debrief. Debrief is a time for us racers to process and rest after doing ministry. Month one debrief was a D R E A M. We traveled from India to Kathmandu, Nepal. I had to idea that Nepal would capture my heart the second I arrived by WOW; it did. From the moment I peered out of my plane window and saw the Himalayas poking through the clouds – I was mesmerized. Then Debrief began. My whole squad and I got to rest, explore, and worship together here in Kathmandu for six whole days. Then I began ministry with not only my team (the Imitators) but also another team with some very dear friends on it (the Becomers) and I have loved it. We have been living together, cooking together, and bonding together to create unity between our two teams. I have seen the Lord work in beautiful ways here in Nepal. He has shown me that I am FREE to live, FREE to serve, and FREE to explore. We are doing a kids camp here for ministry and I have met some amazing kids. Kids who are smart. Kids who know the Lord. Kids who sing to the Lord with no shame. I have fallen in love with my ministry host’s family. I have become super close friends with my ministry host son who is fifteen years old. He has shown me that the people I meet here are so much like us. Just like people in the United States. Teenagers have the same struggles. Adults feel the same stress in making ends meet as middle class Americans. They want to show love to their families in the same way we do in America. I have absolutely loved being on the World Race. I have been expanded in comfort, I have seen the sick be healed, I have prayed for the widows, I have played with the children, I have loved. I have loved with the love that Jesus Christ has instilled in me. He is receiving the glory here. Jesus is teaching me so much about what it means to be humble here. Nepal, I looove you. Prayer Request ~

– I am still fundraising, and with my next deadline coming up I am in NEED. Please consider donating to me financially so I can continue to love the nations with the love that Jesus has given me to share.

– I am learning to be humble. Please pray that the Lord will give me a heart that loves to be selfless.

– Tomorrow is our last day of doing camp with the kids we currently have – pray that the words we say will be affective and that we will be able to love in the name of Jesus!
