I’m a little late to title this blog ‘pre-training camp,’ since I am already one day in; But this will do. As you all have heard by now, I am taking a gap year mission trip called the World Race beginning in September. I have been here at Training Camp in Gainesville, Georgia for a whole day now. Thank you so much to all the people who have donated to me. I made my deadline of $5,000 before training camp perfectly and now I am pushing towards my goal of $10,000 before launch. I am so excited for the next ten days and what they will hold; between the team bonding, trying new things like story teller vlogging, and setting up my tent for the first time – in pouring down rain, I wouldn’t have it any other way though. While at training camp we will be tested to see that we can withstand ‘worst case scenarios’ while on the field, so please be praying for that while I am here and that I will remember that the Joy of the Lord is my strength and through Him I can literally do ALL things. Again, thank you all so much for your prayers, financial contributions, and positive thoughts. This is just a quick update, and I will write you all soon once training is done.
