*Prepare for a very unorganized blog post, camp is CRAZZZY!*
If you recognize my very catchy title, chances are you have been to the Christian summer camp out of Texas called Pine cove. I have had the PLEASURE of working at Pine Cove as a counselor for a summer job for the last 3 weeks. On the surface level, It is simply a seasonal job of only six weeks – but it is so much more than that. Just last week, 3 of my campers asked Jesus into their hearts. This is so much more than a five day camp! We are talking about eternity happening in these five days. We are telling campers of the ages 1st through 6th grade about the Gospel and telling them with open arms to come to Jesus and spend eternity with Him. It’s been so humbling to really let Jesus take the wheel, and do his thing. He has rescued so many through Pine Cove, and I am simply honored to be able to be apart of it for six whole weeks. I am very passionate about spreading the gospel to all nations, including our own. As I have began to prepare to live abroad for nine whole months, i have made it my mission to love ALL PEOPLE. That includes in Africa, in the deepest parts of villages that are unreached; as well as the kids of White Rock Fellowship Dallas, Texas. I am learning that my faith extends sooo much further than I have let it. I can share my faith while checking out my items in the grocery line at Walmart, in the parking lot when passing people by, in line at a restaurant, etc. In the last 3 weeks I have seen God work in ways that I couldn’t have even imagined. I am so honored to be apart of his Kingdom and to be extending it though him. I know this blog is sort of all over the place, but just know that I have never felt closer to Jesus as I do now. I am just simply not sure how I put the unfathomable love my Father has for me into simplistic words on my blog. Thank you all for reading and following my journeys as I chase after Jesus full speed.
UPDATE: I have my first financial deadline coming up of $5,000 on June 19th, and I really want to hit this deadline. As you may see in my fundraising bar – I currently have $3,492. I know that this is a huge number but I am so passionate in that I believe our God is SO much bigger. Praise him. If you have felt led to donate – there is no better time than now!
