Forgiveness, verb, meaning : to grant pardon or remission for (an offense, debt, etc.)
As humans, it is absolutely no secret that we sin. However what you may not know, that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). This means that we all deserve to die and go to Hell to abide with Satan for the rest of eternity. As alarming as this sounds, there is a solution to get out of this eternity of torture. The solution is called Jesus Christ. Jesus is the absolute perfect definition of Forgiveness. Jesus Christ died on the cross in order for our sins to be forgiven and we be able to make it into Heaven. Think about it, JUST the sins that you committed on this very day, did you for a second have unclean thoughts? Back-talk or disrespect your parents? Or maybe you even got drunk or had sexual relations with someone of which you’re not married to. These are only a small hand full of sins that are committed every single day around the world, though these sins are still not okay to happen and as believers we must put a stop to them happening in our lives, if you have in fact called on Jesus’ name and asked to be saved yours sins are FORGIVEN. I can absolutely not stress enough how important it is to sincerely ask Christ into your life, just being a good person, or even going to church is not what gets you into heaven. It is my prayer that this blog does not only give my fellow believers advice and a more vast understanding of what were to do as Christians, but that through this will also point others to Christ. Back to the main base of this post – We should forgive others for wrong doing towards us just as God forgives us through the sacrifice of Jesus dying on the cross. Never hold grudges, because this isn’t Christ like at all and our ultimate goal is to strive to be Christ like in all things we do as believers. Have a Blessed Day!!
