This is my pack.

 She is a 65-liter.

Inside her, you will find…

A tent that I have not used yet on the race, tent poles, an airporter that keeps my pack safe on travel days and I bag of tampons (if you use them, treat them like gold, pack more then you think you will need. You can not find them anywhere on the race)

A sleeping pad that makes way to much noise during the night when I toss and turn and my full-size pillow from home. 

Sleeping sheet, Blanket (I took it from one of the many flights I have been on this year), washcloth, hair towel, 2 sarongs (one not pictured), and an extra pillowcase that can double as a laundry bag if and when I need one. 

What lives inside a medium size packing cube is… An extra pair of glasses, a deck of cards, extra toothbrush, sewing kit, scissors, headlamp, currency from the different countries I have been to so far, a bowl, utensils, pocket knife and the bag that holds the utensils and pocket knife, extra plastic gallon bags, sleeping pad repair kit, Altoids tin with extra ink for my pen, KT tape, and Ez-towels.

That packing cube also holds… a small bag filled with electronics.

Camera battery charger, extra batteries for a headlamp, extra battery for camera, headlamp, extra SD card, SD card reader, hard drive, lighting to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter, and a cord holder. 

Two large packing cubes that hold all my clothes.

Inside the two large packing cubes are…

One jean button up long sleeve shirt, one dress, one tunic, and a kurta that I got in  India.

Two tank tops, 6 non-t-shirt tops (2 not pictured), 3 t-shirts.

One black full-length skirt, 2 shorts, 1 biker shorts for under dresses or skirt, 4 pairs of pants (1 not pictured)

In a medium packing cube… 

a pair of socks, 9 pieces of underwear, and 6 bras.

 

In a hanging toiletry bag…

q-tips, toothpaste and toothbrush, fabric Febreze, facemask, two types of deodorant, facial lotion and an S-hook to hold the bag when it is hanging.

 

 

Also in the hanging toiletry bag…

floss, toothpicks, bracelets, a watch, and earrings that I wear every day, mascara, concealer, eyeliner, brow gel (i haven’t touched any of the makeup once), extra razor blade, eyeglass repair kit, nail clippers, and tweezers. 

 

and…

Two headbands, Bobbie pins, hair ties, hair brush, and comb. 

 

And…

In a quart size bag holds…baby lotion, toothpaste, two types of sunscreen, perfume, facial lotion, and rose water spray. 

Shampoo and 5 different types of soap. 

Stored in the led of my pack…

A bag I got in Thailand last month, raincoat, hat and a bag of laundry detergent.

 

My faithful Kavu!

What I carry in my Kavu every day…

Wallet from Nepal, small leather wallet from Thailand, pen, notebook, envelope for team money and another smaller notepad for record team money (I am the  treasurer for my team) 

This also lives on the daily in my Kavu… 

Small bag, hand sanitizer, peppermint oil, 2 types of chapstick, cloth to clean my glasses, eye drops, Advil, and a reusable shopping bag. 

My day pack.

This is what lives in her…

My MacBook Pro and case.

And…

My water bottle, essential oils (deep relief, peppermint, lavender, and tea tree), a bag of vitamins, prescription meds, cortizone 10 cream, and homemade bug spray.

 

And…

Glasses that are on my face every day, Glasses case, glasses cleaning cloth and massage ball to roll out my back. 

And…

Art case that holds…

Extra bookmarks, watercolors, 2 rolls of washi tape, pencil sharpener, eraser , extra pencil lead, cat pencil, black sharpie, 2 Tombow pens, 2 micron pens, one ink pen, white gel pen, 4 paint brushes, one pencil, stick of glue and a metal tin to hold water when painting. 

And…

Watercolor paper and coloring crayons.

And…

A small bag that holds…

Extra small notebooks, paperclips, postcards, notepaper, envelopes, stickers to mark pages, tiny handmade paper notebook and handmade paper from Nepal and Cambodia. 

And…

Camera, computer charger, phone charger, external battery pack, international charger, a small pouch that holds 3 headphones. 

And…

My Bible that I have recovered since being on the race, Calender to keep track of day to day life, Kindle (who really wants to carry around so many books), 3 journals. 

And…

A small bag to hold all financial things for my team, a small bag to hold extra cash and my important documents like my passport and yellow fever card, my prayer pouch, stone Angel and a little ring that my niece gave me before I left for the race.
