In A Tent

Under A Mango Tree

Seasons are ever-changing in a life lived with our Papa,
the way that
God keeps shaping this journey
called
LIFE
has been a roller coaster.

God wrecked me,
wrecked me hard at training camp back in October.
and
He continues to each
and
every day.

What does it look like to surrender your life to Him and live in His will?

Where does one learn to live in such intimacy with our Papa
that you long to wake up
to be with
Him
every morning?

In a tent God showed up and rocked my world.
He spent a night with me under the stars
showing me that all I truly need is
Him and Him
alone.
When every other one of my squad mates was sharing a tent with one another,
I was sharing one with my Papa.
I had forgotten what is was like to come to Him and lay my life at His feet.
To get out of my
head
and just be with Him.

In Haiti
Under a Mango tree
my Papa brought me to my knees,
to
sit in the silence with
Him.
He has started breaking down walls and healing open wounds.
Peeling back the layers, helping me open up.
Showing me how truly
loved
I
am
and will always be.
Slowly,
I am learning what is looks like to come to him
and just
be.

Come near to God and he will come near to you.
