If you’re reading this, you probably know that I am about to do this really really really cool thing called The World Race.
You also might know that it is a mission trip that will see me visit 11 countries in 11 months(!!!!).
But, you probably don’t know anything about me other than that.
So, that’s what this is: the basics about who I am.
First, my name is Kyle Drury. I’m sure you could have reached that conclusion by looking at the top of the page where it says “Kyle Drury” but I wanted to formally introduce myself to you by typing it out here. So, yeah. I’m Kyle.
I am a senior at Auburn University and after The World Race is over I will be going to medical school at Liberty University in Virginia.
The World Race is something that I have been praying about since I first felt God calling me to it six years ago. It seems like it was just yesterday (forgive the cliché) that I was hearing about this awesome adventure and now I am actually about to be embarking on it!
You also may have noticed at the top of the page that this thing costs money, believe it or not. And while I would love to be able to just pull that lump sum out of my pocket, I don’t have that ability. So, if you don’t feel called to the race yourself but feel like God still is calling you to play a role in this incredible kingdom-building experience, then I encourage you to pray about helping me with this financial burden. I hate to use two clichés in one blog post but seriously, every dollar helps.
