F Squad is reaching the final days before Launch on January 13th. We are so excited to see one another and begin ministry in Cote D’Ivoire! However, to launch, we must meet our individual $10,000 fundraising deadline. Some of us have met the deadline early, and for that we praise the Lord! We are so grateful for the support we have collectively received thus far.
Nine of our squadmates have not met the December deadline yet. These people belong on the race with us. Their teams were hand picked at training camp. Each person has something to offer this family of 32! Will you read about these World Racers and consider giving to them for your year end giving? All donations are tax deductible. We believe in the power of our Father’s provision. We believe that a stranger’s heart can be stirred to give the exact amount we need. We believe that we belong here, we just need to be sent.

Chelsy Smoak – $208

Chelsy is on my team and I am so excited to learn from her! She has up and moved to Africa before, so I can tell I have a lot to learn from her. She is a travel guru, as her current job with Compassion International has her on a constant road trip. She is choosing to walk in obedience by going on the Race, and I am so excited to see how we grow together!
Vanessa James – $600

I will admit that I didn’t talk to Vanessa very much at training camp. But from what I can tell, she is BOLD. I see wisdom in her that I know will be so crucial while on the field. She is not afraid to admit her fear or weakness or speak truth over others. The Lord has specific purposes for her on this journey.
Emily Cate – $1,400

Out of everyone in my squad, Emily is the one I want to learn from the most. From the little I got to hear from her story, she is a fighter. She fights for the people she loves with everything she has. She gives herself to serve those in need. She is perceptive, gracious, and radically kind. I feel really honored to be on her squad. I will fight for her to launch with us.
Brianna Johnson – $1,400

Brianna was a complete surprise to me. She was reserved for the first few days of training camp. We were placed on a team together and I was genuinely excited to know her more. When she broke out of her shell, I realized that this girl gets me. She hears me when I feel unheard. She can throw my sass right back at me. She exudes vulnerability and strength. I can learn a lot from this gal.
Christa Kain – $1,505

Christa is one that I want to know so much more about. I can see her selflessness in the way that she loves others and doesn’t ask for recognition. I wish that I had the chance to know her more over our ten days at training camp. The Lord chose her specifically to be on this squad and in her team. She brings something only she can bring to the table.
Breier Sanders – $1,510

I trusted Breier the minute I met him, which is extremely rare. Through him, I learned how to follow and support my leadership well in this setting. I have no doubt he is supposed to be here. I am always so impressed by our men and how they handle being in a majority female squad. Breier handled it with such grace, which I later found out is because he is already an amazing brother and loves his sisters so well! He is selfless, kind, and so patient. We adore Breier and we will continue to fight for him in prayer until he can launch with us.

Bri is adventurous and exciting. She makes everything we do, even the most mundane activity, ridiculously fun. She is strong and more obedient than I think I could ever be. Even in the midst of family hardship, she is confident that God has her on the Race. She is ready to go and proclaim truth to the nations.
Taylor Krueger – $2,000

I can really obviously see how the Lord is going to use Taylor in this squad. She works in a boarding school for at risk teens. She loves people that are sometimes really hard to love. She fights for people. Imagine all that she will do in ministry with our squad. Taylor can teach us how to love when we don’t like each other, to advocate for justice, and how to do the Church Clap. She is needed and called. She just needs to be sent.
Mya Henderson – $3,000

Mya is on my team! She will be living with me and spending every minute with me for at least the first few months. I love so many things about Mya, but one thing that sticks out is her passion. She will fight for what she is passionate about. When she speaks, I can literally feel the Lord’s energy working through her. People listen to what she has to say. Imagine what glory will be brought to the Kingdom through her! She has the power and authority to relay the gospel in a way that people HEAR. That is huge. Pray and consider sending Mya.
