This month has been a tough one. I have found myself studying the words of a dear friend in a letter she wrote to me before I left America.

“I love you girl and I can tell you now it is going to get hard but just trust His calling. When you begin to doubt just look back on all He has done this far and keep trusting and knowing He is faithful. You will see the light eventually.”

“Buckle up and get ready the Lord is going to take you on a wild and crazy unforgettable ride! Trust, let Him take control and be obedient, pray, and He will take care of the rest!”

In Psalm 32:8 it is written, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you…Many are the sorrows of the wicked but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the Lord.

If the Lord has taught me anything this month its what trusting Him looks and feels like. Unfortunately its hard for me to explain or even begin to describe. The best I can say is this: trusting God is freedom. Freedom from fear, worry, and doubt.
