Hello! Below I have created a short little video of me packing!
It’s not all that fascinating, but it sure was fun to create!
And yes, stuff is stuff, and ultimately the Lord does/will provide for me throughout this next year; but this stuff is my little slice of home. It’s a big ole’ bag of where I came from. You see I can be just a tad bit sentimental (okay, maybe more than a tad). I’m one of those people who keep ALL THE THINGS. Every ticket stub, notebook, gum wrapper, program, picture, box, etc. If it has any memory attached to it you can bet that it is put away in my room somewhere.
I don’t know why I’m this way!!
Ultimately, though, stuff is stuff and the Lord provides for me what I need. SO while I try to live that out this next year by living simply with the things I can carry on my back, I want to ask that you say a prayer of protection over my bags! (I know that sounds weird but stuff gets stolen, lost, lost in airports, etc.) But also pray for my sanity when things do get lost or stolen.
The Lord is my rock, strength, and shelter!…..but my stuff is my stuff. Haha.
