Thank you all for the love, the encouragement and the support you have given me over the last 4 months when I announced I would be going on the World Race. Here we are at launch with a few more hours of wisdom and worship poured into us before we leave. God has shown up every time. I only have $3,155 left to raise until I am FULLY FUNDED!
We’re starting out our travels to Serbia early in the morning. It start at 2:30am and we will fly from Atlanta –> Miami –> Portugal –> Budapest and then hop on a bus down to Serbia. Our first ministry site and serving opportunity is at Camp Mrcajevci in Serbia. My squad will be in Serbia and Albania ministry sites, but my team of 6 (Team Atlas) will be in Serbia.
I am more than ready to set sail on this adventure. Goodbyes were tough over the last couple of weeks, but I am ready to fearlessly follow, honorably live and wholly love the nations with my squad. God has preparing this season for me for quite some time now.
Today we heard a message from our mentor, Teresa. She is absolutely incredible and I’m grateful God has chosen her for X Squad. She shared on evangelism and what it looks like more to make disciples for Christ. Her stories captivate me and bring me to tears as she leads so many to Jesus.
We get to do life with her. We talked about being bold and that there are no excuses when it comes to sharing the gospel. One of the things she said that I held so tight to was that when we love people we won’t fear them.
The power of prayer is real. My relationship with Jesus is real. I will not fear. His love allows me to love others wholly and for that I will not have to fear anyone or anything, but instead love them just like Jesus has.
Yes, God is far above and He goes before and comes behind. Yes, God is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. Yes. But He is also everything in between. He is with us here, He is with us there, alongside, in the decision, in the arriving, but He’s also in the waiting…
