Just a bit of an update:
It is the last day of April!
Let the countdown to leaving begin… only 3 months away!
God keeps proving His faithfulness: Just some highlights.
We go on a monthly outreach with a team from our church. At this, we go to hotels in our area where families live permanently, in pretty rough lifestyles (leaving it to your imagination), with children living there. This Saturday, we asked the kids if any of them wanted to come up and accept Jesus into their hearts, and two precious sisters prayed for Jesus to be Lord of their life after hearing the story of Easter (the straight up Gospel). YAY! Be praying that He continues to protect, comfort, and guide, and for them to always be reminded of His love and the authority within them from Jesus.
I am a sub, and after a while I requested for God to send me to 3/4 specific schools, and this whole month I’ve been able to work at JUST those same few schools which is amazing.
For the month of April, I prayed for 2,500 and God led people to donate ! So what do you know, 2,195 in the last FIVE days of April, and over 2500 for entirety of April, and continuously beyond that with my odd jobs included! Thank You God!
OUR ROUTE:
If you want to help our team prepare the people in the countries we will be going to, here are some things to pray about specifically:
Spain:
We may or may not be hiking the El Camino… in any case, Spain is a beautiful place, but, it is centered on religion and tradition rather than relationship with Jesus and passion.
Pray for transformation from religion into real and honest relationship!
Morocco:
Seems like a dream! However, 99% are Sunni Muslim which means no hope of Christ. Why do we need Christ?? BECAUSE He is the only one to give us 100% freedom from sin, the enemy, the world and He is the only one to give us unconditional love, friendship and purpose.
Pray for Christ to be known! Pray for those He wants us to partner with and meet, pray for orchestrated chance encounters.
Israel:
A Holy land, for many different religions.
Pray for the peace of Jesus and an overflow of love! Pray for freedom, praise, and joy to enter the hearts of the people here, and most importantly for truth to be heard and recognized.
Jordan:
We will encounter many refugees and locals here. This is particularly exciting to me as I’ve had a heart for the refugees for quite some time.
Pray they would find a place and shelter in Jesus, find their significance in Jesus, and be reminded that each one individually has a very specific, special purpose that He wants to use them for. Pray for comfort, hope, and healing physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Cyprus:
Mmmm beaches. My kinda place. It is also a divided nation, so pray for reconciliation between North and South and the truth of Jesus to be heard.
Pray for receptive hearts, and deep relationships to be formed and that we would be an encouragement and refresher.
Kazakhstan:
70% Muslim 26% Russian Orthodox.
Pray for Jesus’ name to be glorified and no other name. Pray for leading into specific areas, and for the people to receive us and ultimately Jesus.
Kyrgyzstan:
Mountainous, and gorgeous, isolated and culturally Muslim.
Pray for doors to be opened, leading with partners we form, and the authority and leading of the Holy Spirit.
Mongolia:
Sparsely populated, and most have never heard of Jesus.
Pray for hearts to be open and receptive to the Gospel. Pray that we will be led to areas that were once completely isolated and that have never heard the Gospel so that they can hear, and then share with surrounding neighboring communities. Pray that Jesus’ truth and life changing relationship would spread throughout Mongolia.
China:
Here we will be encouraging long term missionaries, and those in underground churches who are already being a light and thriving in China.
Pray that whatever needs they have we can meet and be given the means to do so. Let us be encouragers and supporters, I pray those we meet would be refreshed.
LAST TWO– Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan
So keep praying for 100% leading of the Holy Spirit, let our “agendas’ not interfere. Pray for unity, and strength for our teams on Expedition route, and pray for spiritual growth, humility, and always constant surrendering to the Lord.
THANK YOU FOR PRAYING! THANK YOU FOR DONATING! THANK YOU THANK YOU!
