Father,
You have called me to do more than I ever have. Not just see new places, but discover areas of myself like never before, areas of pain and sorrow, along with joy and love.
As I experience more I must equally rely on you. You never waste a pain and I strive to thank you for what I get to do in your name.
I will see with your eyes, run to your children with your feet and hold them with your arms.
Speak through me Lord in every way. Make me so full of you it is overflowing my being. There needs to be much less of me and much more of you.
Make me wait, make me seek, make me yearn for you. Teach me to rely on you wholly, learning it is impossible to do it on my own.
Don’t give me things God; give me experiences, those that leave me in awe of your unconditional love and marvelous power.
Break my heart for what breaks yours and force me to acknowledge unnecessary suffering in the your world.
I’m saying yes to you because you have said yes to me; and I will continue to say yes to those you place in my path, for they are also if you.
I thank you for this wild and beautiful life. For your grace as I walk through it in your name. For your unconditional love and guidance, and for choosing me as your child.
