Say hello to Team Ghila Gavriela aka The G’s!
Per World Race protocol, once you get in a rhythm and get used to something, things get shaken up aka new teams. Once arriving in Nepal, new teams were formed. What does this mean you may be asking. Well the team, Team Scraps, you have all read so much about is no more. I love these girls dearly but am excited to announce team Ghila Gavriela also know as The G’s are ready to continue the work we have started on the race and take it to another level!
Allow me to introduce to you my new team: Vickie, Bekah, Victori (no your eyes do not deceive you, she was on my previous team), myself and Laura
When we first sat down as a team, we were discussing what we wanted our team to look like, function like and all around encompass. We threw out words like joyful, intentional, miracle workers, warriors, prayer warriors, vulnerable/honest, interruptible and flexible. After coming back together a second time, we had to decide on a team name and landed on Ghila Gavriela. What in the world does that mean you may be asking yourself, well good question. Ghila is the Hebrew word for joy and Gavriela is the feminine Hebrew word for warrior of God, so we are the JOYFUL WOMEN WARRIORS OF GOD! Gavriela also means God is my strength.
I am excited to do life with these amazing women of God for the next few months, especially as we go into Malaysia which is another ATL (Ask The Lord) month. ATL means we have no ministry contacts. We go into the country with no contacts and pray to see where God leads us. ATL is a special time to be able to seek and rely on the Lord in a whole new way and I couldn’t be more excited.
I am excited to learn from each of these beautiful women! Individually they are each outstanding, but as a team I’m so excited to see what the next few months together has for us. I’m also looking forward to getting to know them better.
