Hello All!

My name is Kendra Winnick from Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. I am a 26 year old graduate from Boise State University.

I am so excited to be able to go on the World Race that God has called me to. This blog is a place for me to be vulnerable, honest, real and raw. I have to be honest already and say that I am not completely comfortable with the whole blogging thing, but I do want to go outside of my comfort zone to be able to express what God is doing in and through me but also what He is doing in and through others as well.

The World Race is an 11 month Christian mission trip to 11 countries around the world. One of the unique things about the World Race is that it’s not only a mission trip but also an intensive discipleship program designed to launch my generations into our specific kingdom calling. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plan churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restorative hope of a Father’s love to many tribes and nations.

On this trip I will be traveling and experiencing: Haiti, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, India, Nepal, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Uganda.

This will be another way to remember and proclaim the goodness of God in each step of this journey before, during and after.

Most importantly I ask for prayer, but also a consideration to partner with me and Adventures in Missions with a donation in this time of preparation of the World Race. I also ask each and every one of you reading this to let me know if there is any way I could be praying for you. I do not see this blog as a one way street. We are all connected and I would love nothing more than to read comments, suggestions, concerns, guidance, teaching and prayer requests. This is a space that is welcome to any and all.

As I depart from the U.S.A., I leave behind many love ones who are such a blessing that have shaped me, loved me and supported me through every step.

I am so thankful for you to even read this blog and am excited to continue this experience with you!

Yours truly,

Kendra
