This video is of our last week in the DR. We have arrived safely in Haiti Tuesday, October 10 around 8:30pm. It was a 12 hour drive from Boca Chica, DR to Port Au Prince, Haiti.
Fact About Haiti: Voodooism is practiced often in Haiti. Demonic presences are also way more apparent because of voodooism as well as devil worshipping (which wow, makes me sick).
Prayer Request: Spiritual Warfare is a REAL thing. Prayers for myself and my squad mates are not only appreciated but needed. Pray that each of us put on the armor of God every morning when we awaken and as we sleep the armor continues to protect us.
It is likely that we may encounter someone who is possessed or toys with demons knowingly or unknowingly. It is possible to pray over someone and cast the demons out of their soul, BUT the only way it is effective is if these PEOPLE, REAL HUMANS, are willing to accept Christ to fill that hole those demons were housing. If not then that is just a place for more demons to enter in to.
Prayer Request Pt 2: That we are able to use discernment and bravery in these encounters. That we can see if these people are going to be in a place to accept Christ. That we still continue to pray for those who aren’t in a place to accept Christ, to fight to reach that freedom.
Now our ministry in Haiti so far has been a lot of SVT (Strategic Village Time). We have already encountered people that have experience with voodoo as well as people that don’t know or have a relationship with Jesus and we have gotten to share the gospel with them. I have not yet encountered someone that is possessed but that doesn’t mean I won’t at all this month. I truly believe that our Savior is the Savior of a possessed body as well. That if we are able to help bring someone to the kingdom of God that He will tell us. That He will equip us to do so. With that being said PLEASE do not fear for me or my squad. Instead TRUST that we are in God’s hands. Thank Him for being a God that provides and protects.
