You are beautiful. You are mine. The world doesn’t define who you are. The world doesn’t determine your happiness. I do. I don’t lie. My opinion doesn’t shift day to day. I am the same today, tomorrow, yesterday, always. I love you the same now as I did when you hit rock bottom. I will love you the same every single day. I was there at conception. I made you and I have plans for you. Plans to not only bring you hope but to bring hope to the nations. Do not let the world define you. Do not even let yourself define you. You are loved. You are perfect because I died to make you perfect. You are never alone, even when no one is in your corner because I am always in your corner. Feelings happen, however they don’t have the power to cripple you because I am all-powerful. I am the Lord of your life. You were not an accident. You are not worthless. Was my death for nothing? My death was for you. I love you. I. LOVE. YOU. Listen to me. Listen when I call you beautiful. Listen when I call you anointed one. Listen when I call you worthy. You alone are unworthy but I redeemed you. I set you free. I made you worthy. Your gifts are unique to you. You are irreplaceable. You matter. The enemy will try to steal these truths from you. Do. Not. Let. Him.

In a world that tends to be chaotic and ever changing, its hard to comprehend how unchanging God is. Our emotions fluctuate, new people come in and out of our lives, and situations are temporary. Time passes and through it all there are countless tears that fall, smiles formed, and memories made. But, in such a fast-paced world, it is so easy to fall victim to lies. Lies swoop in disguised as truth. There is something irresistibly attractive about them that cause us to give the lies a heavy weight in our decision making processes. Like a parasite, they attach themselves to our deepest insecurities and feed on our self-worth. Lies are what cause beautiful girls to believe they are ugly, talented people to believe they are useless, and all of God’s people to believe they are unloved. They suck the life out of us and we are left with no hope.
But, my friends, there IS a remedy!
God has a very different opinion. And the best news of all is that your opinion has absolutely no relevance or persuasion on God’s. His truths about you do not change from day to day like all the other unpredictable areas of our lives. They are the same yesterday, today, always. His truths are not based on your emotions or what you believe to be true at the time. Even in your lowest of lows, He still pursues you with the same passion as when you are running full force at Him. If you do not know these truths to be true, I pray that you hear them today. In the chaotic and ever changing world we live in, these truths are a solid ground to stand on.
Be still, and know that I am God.
