We’ve gotten to be with kids a lot this month. I’ve learned a lot of new little faces and seen lots of new smiles. Something I have learned on the race is how receptive and carefully kids watch us. They see and do what we do. Kids are the future, the next generation. These kiddos everywhere have so much potential. We teach them so much and they take that and can do whatever with it. They can bring it home to their parents, and brothers and sisters. Seriously think about how cool it is that God gave children so much potential. They can change the lives of everyone around them. I think especially, for parents, its real cool to watch your child grow in something and see how happy they are, and how full of joy, and they want to share that with them. So cool. I’ve learned a lot from kids all over the world. The cute little ones in Botswana that were 10 or 11 and raising their younger siblings. That’s a lot of responsibility and personally I don’t think I could do it at that age but these girls do. The freedom the Haitian kids have and what they choose to do with that. They came to VBS and played outside with us each day. The high school boys and girls here that absolutely crave Jesus so much they aren’t scared to ask those scary questions. I really do love working with these kids here. Anyways iI’ve been loving South Africa so much. We’ve gotten lots of opportunities and I’ve been learning a lot about myself and the Lord.
It’s been real good!!
