We have just 37 short days until we are on a plane back to America and the World Race is over. Throughout the entirety of this year, we have been planning to come home in December and enter into the next season of our life—finally settling down in America, starting a family, going to seminary, etc.
However, we have also been praying for the past several months about the timing of it all. Specifically, we have been praying that if God would have us do something else that He open up doors and create opportunities for us to go in a different direction.
A couple of months ago, we were asked to prayerfully consider returning to the field in January for six months in order to help train and disciple the new group of missionaries that will be serving on the field in 2019. AND WE SAID YES!!
In 2019 we will be serving in The Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Myanmar (Burma), Thailand, & Malaysia.
We firmly believe that God has placed this opportunity in our path with a purpose. He has been so faithful to us throughout this journey, and we trust Him to continue to remain faithful in this next step of the journey as Squad Leaders. As we wrap up this year on the field and prepare for the next, our mission is still the same: to declare God’s love and glory among the nations and show others how Christ can truly change us and make us new.

We crave your prayers for us in these next steps. We want to finish our Race well and be prepared by God to humbly lead and serve the next group of Christ-exalting believers that will be out on the field next year.
