I got a tattoo and I wanted to share what it was and the meaning behind it with all of you!
The main idea of my tattoo is to live LINEARLY and for ETERNITY. Here’s a meaning of linear with the synonyms and antonyms.

and my purpose behind it..
I want to live linearly. I want to live with direction and purpose and with a goal. My goals are to serve and glorify the Lord, love everyone, bring heaven to earth, and so on. I don’t want to live a life where when my flesh craves something or the world tells me to do something, I succumb to it, again and again (living life in a circle, my flesh wants this, I will do it, my flesh wants this, I will do it, day in and out). Leading to living in an empty, numbing lifestyle, needing to be fulfilled day in and out by fleeting things.
I want to remember that what seems like reality to me, isn’t always reality. Satan taints my “reality” with feelings and emotions, which can lead me astray. I always need a perspective that is more replicant to God’s than to my own fleshly one. He sees the big picture. He is focused on my eternal life rather than my earthly one. What is unseen in this world is FAR MORE important than what is seen.
I don’t want to indulge my flesh, I don’t want to live for what perishes in life. I want to live as if God’s eyes are the only on me, live where His opinion and perception of me is the only one that matters. I want my concerns to be about fearing the Lord. I want to be faithful to the Lord like He is ALWAYS faithful to me. I want to always ask myself:
Why am I letting live what Christ died to kill?
I will live with an eternal mindset and perspective.
I will live my life DRIVEN by eternity
