I suppose I should’ve seen it coming, but senior year has flew by so fast! While many of my close friends are heading off to college next year, my story is a tad different. If you ask any senior in high school what the most common question is that they hear, it would be, “What are your plans next year?” This is a question Ive heard more times then I can count! and just about every time, once I do tell them that I’m traveling to 6 different countries, Nepal, India, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Ecuador for a 9 month missions trip, the automatic response is always wait.. what?

The Lord really called me to the World Race at the beginning of junior year when I first learned more about the organization, but He called me to missions much earlier. I believe the Lord has been planting a seed in my heart with a passion for mission work. I have felt the Lord beginning to change the desires that I have for my life, to reflect His desires for my life. I also knew that the Lord was calling me to dedicate a long period of time to go out of my comfort zone to serve Him.

With all that being said these next few months will still be insanely challenging. Through the midst of hardcore fundraising, praying and preparation, I am still excited to see what the Lord has in store for my team and I! Thank you to all those who are praying for me during this journey and have supported me! If you want to ask me more questions about my mission feel free to email me at @[email protected]
