God’s creation is filled with so much beauty and wonder
I had the opportunity to put on my touristy clothes these past couple weeks and visit Bolivian Salt Flats, Rainbow Mountain and Machu Picchu!
The Salt Flats was one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited! We spent the entire day driving around the Salt Flats, taking pictures and looking around in awe of what our God created. All you could see was salt flats for miles and miles. These pictures don’t do it justice- it was breathtaking! We watched the sunset and saw the sky explode in beautiful colors as we worshipped and sang praises.
Rainbow Mountain. I described it as beautiful, challenging and adventurous. It was a very difficult hike for me due to the altitude and the simple fact that you had to climb up a mountain. I am so glad I challenged myself because the view at the top was spectacular. It even started snowing at the top which I found hysterical.
Machu Picchu. A couple days after hiking Rainbow Mountain, our whole squad hiked Machu Picchu. So much hiking. I’m basically a pro now. Not really. Easter Sunday and I get to hike Machu Picchu and see some amazing views. What a way to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection. Hallelujah!
Again, thank you soooo much for all of the emails, texts, thoughts and prayers. I can’t believe I am already in month 9- it has been such a journey of growth and I am excited to begin thinking about how to share it with you all when I return.
