God creates beautiful things.
I was looking up at the stars one night in our village and I was in awe of how beautiful it was. I love looking up at the stars, I feel so close to God as I’m laying there staring up at all the many many stars. God made each one of those stars and named each one. He created those beautiful stars…and everything else! I started thinking about our month in Thailand and all the beauty that I have seen. I wanted to share some of them with y’all.
I have seen the beauty in being able to watch “The Little Mermaid” on a little TV with several children from the village.

I have seen beauty in praying for this woman who takes care of her sister’s three children, as well as two of her own.

I have seen the beauty as I teach first graders and help out in the sixth grade classes. These kids have such a desire to learn and succeed.

I have seen the beauty in visiting a Long Neck village and praying with the three women in the village that have accepted Jesus into their hearts.

I have seen the beauty in the way these kids worship. They start their day every morning and end their day every evening worshipping and praising God. Evening worship is always one of my favorites times of the day!
I have seen beauty in “She”, the elephant we got to meet and give a mud bath. It was so much fun!

I have seen the beauty in the mountains of Thailand.

I have seen the beauty in the view from our boat tour around the lake.

I have seen the beauty in the sunset at the beach. In Florida, the beach is one of my favorite places to pray and talk to God. It has been a blessing to be back at a beach!

I have seen the beauty in my new family! They are each so special and I have loved growing closer and closer every month.
I am so thankful for this month in Thailand and the reminder that I can find God’s beauty anywhere and everywhere!
“One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.” Psalm 27:4
