This month in Thailand has been sooooo good!!
God has allowed us to pour into each other as a team in abundance this month. We made it a goal right before we left Nepal to spend more one on one time with each member of our team throughout the month. We have a specific teammate that we encourage, challenge, and pray for every day of the week. We share our praises, thanksgivings, struggles, challenges and all the things with each other.
We really became more of a family this month!!
I got to sit and spend time with a couple of the girls from the Grace House, Mary and Abigail, this past week. They have been teaching me a couple of worship songs in Burmese. It was such a reminder that even through language barriers, laughter and smiles are universal. We shared lots of laughs and joy! We also got the spend time with the young adults at the bible school. They are so fun to be around!!
God is showing me that I have a heart for teenage girls/young women and reminding them how loved and special they are. I have been able to teach from the Beauty for Ashes program twice this month, which has been a real blessing. I taught the bible story of the women at the well and have talked about past hurts and moments of feeling unworthy. We discuss how Jesus is in those moments of hurts and is always with us, even when we don’t see or feel Him at the time. I am excited to see how God continues to pursue this call in the next several months.
