You want me to do what?   You want me to eat that?   You want me to sleep where?   You want me to pray how? That’s pretty much what I have been thinking for the past 10 days at Training Camp.

We were challenged with different sleeping scenarios that sometimes meant sleepless and uncomfortable nights.  We ate a variety of different foods from several countries that wasn’t always the most appetizing. We used porta potties and took cold bucket showers. We had to hike 2 miles with our huge backpacks up the mountains (actually hills, but they felt like mountains). We put up and took down our tents and packed up countless times in the Georgia heat.

There were definitely times where it was a little uncomfortable. The first couple days were rough and overwhelming. Thankfully, growth happens when God shows up in the uncomfortable.

My comfort zone was stretched this week as I experienced different aspects of prayer. We spent one session focusing on the power of the Holy Spirit. I am learning how to discern and listen to the voice of the Spirit. It is such a gift when someone speaks truth into your life using words/visions that they received from the Holy Spirit. I also got to witness the power of healing prayer. FIVE people on our squad received healing that day. It was amazing. One of our fabulous leaders at camp said, “Don’t Limit God by the Prayers You Pray”.  Woah. That statement really left me convicted. So this year I am going to pray BIG.

In 46 days, I will be heading to India with my fabulous squad. I am so excited to do life with them! Yes, training camp was uncomfortable but it was so so good. Just like my God is so so good.
