Hello from Swaziland. Man, does that sound weird? So for those of you that read my last blog, I have an update on team changes!
We had debrief in between Lesotho and Swaziland, which is where all the team changes went down. I had one day to do final goodbyes to the life that I had known for 4 months. Saying goodbye to the ladies that helped me grow more than I had ever dreamed.
So here’s to you ladies;
Lynden: You will never know how important having you around was to me. Knowing that I could come to you with anything, and knowing that you would always point me back to God. I love you.
Ashley: Knowing you has changed me forever. I grew so much in my knowledge of the Holy Spirit with you and I will always love my Irish lad!y!
Mary Beth: It was amazing to have someone by my side that understood my background, my life. You’ll never know how important it was to me that you have shown me that I am not my past. I love you!
Jess: There is no way to explain how much I love you. You are an amazing person and have so much to offer to the world!
Marah: I need you to know how important our friendship has been to me. How important it was the You let me cry on your shoulder and that you trusted me enough to cry on mine! I love you!
Anna: I have learned so much from just who you are as a person. Your desire to grow and to desire to always be good! I love you.
It was an amazing four months. Four months of laughter, tears, and the most fun I have ever had. Thank you Daughter Zion for all that you have given me and all that you have taught me.
And now it’s time to introduce my new team… Spades!
Before I tell you their names, I’d just like to say that I am so excited to get to know you all! I’m excited to get to dive into ministry and vulnerability with you ladies! I know there will be times of trials, and I know that we won’t always have good days. But I also know that I will always choose you, I will always love you, I will always fight for you and more importantly, I will always push you back to the Lord!
