Dear Lesotho,
I want to begin by thanking you. I want to thank you for loving me, teaching me, and growing me.
Lesotho, it is in you that I learned just how important my relationship with God is. Not just having one, but pursuing Him as much as He pursues me. Trusting Him, and the plans that He has for me.
It is in you Lesotho, that I truly began to understand the art and design that God put into this world. It was your mountains and valleys. It was the simplicity that is your country.
The 630am walks allowed me to see you in a new light. Starting a day fresh, looking at the picture that the Lord painted with your name on it specifically. Lesotho, you are a beautiful country.
It was in my 7am quiet times that you provided, that forever changed my life and my relationship with my Savior. It was in those times that I fell in love with Jesus again, and in turn, fell in love with you.
Walking to Village ministry was beautiful. Through corn fields and cow patties, with each step we took the beauty only improved. Village ministry was something I can’t even explain. Your people are so welcoming, so loving and so warm. Thank you for allowing me to know them. Thank you for allowing me to serve them.
Tomorrow is our final day here and as we walk through the villages and schools praying for your people, please remember that you changed our lives, at least for me you did.
To be honest, I did not expect much from such a small country that I had never heard of before, but just know that you delivered Lesotho. You delivered well.
Thank you again Lesotho, thank you for allowing me to live here for the last month. Thank you for the privilege that you gave me in getting to know your people. And thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for helping me find this new part of Kasie. This part who yearns to know more, and desires to grow more.
You Lesotho, are the real MVP.
